This one of a kind guitar is handcrafted out of Michigan curly black cherry with a bear claw sitka top and lace wood appointments. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony with bovine bone angled and compensated saddle and nut. The head stock is inlayed with gold mother of pearl as is the fingerboard. The finish is a hand rubbed french polish. This guitar is equipped with a sound port on the upper rib to give the player a more enveloping musical experience. The tone is direct, projecting with punchy bass and transparent highs. Great dynamic range is achieved with parabolic adirondack spruce x bracing on the top and back.
This is an example of a guitar we built to customer specs. The back, sides and neck were made with curly European maple, the top was Engelmann spruce, and the binding and accents are all wenge and maple.
This is a hand made A5 style mandolin. The back, neck and sides are made from curly big leaf maple and the top is old growth sitka spruce. The plates were hand carved and tuned with tone bar bracing on the top. The mandolin has a bright and pronounced singing tone with lots of projection and cut.
